They sometimes have a special rebate of from 6% to 10% and that adds up!! This beauty has very attractive natural Rainbow toning and attractive colors on both sides. The actual colors of the coin in hand are even nicer than the photos. The left 1/4 of the coin is teal green, then to thr right of it is magenta then orange / yellow and steel blue. The reverse is golden brown and steel blue around the peripheries. Coin has been graded and encapsulated by PCGS as Unc Details Damage. The damage is the tiny gouge to the right of the date. It looks like a strike thru error, but it isn't.
It is about the length of a sharpened pencil tip. About 1/4 inch long and thinner than 1 millimeter. Don't know what caused it, but it happened a long time ago as the rainbow toning on the gouge matches the color immediately around it.
Tougher to find in the higher grades. Check out my other Hawaiian Coins that I have for sale.
